Rep. Michaud Saddened by Passing of Gordon Mansfield

Washington, D.C.  – Today, Representative Mike Michaud (ME-02), Ranking Member of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, issued the following statement after learning of the passing of former Deputy Secretary of Veterans Affairs Gordon Mansfield:

“Gordon Mansfield was a great leader and a tireless advocate for veterans. I was saddened to hear of his passing, and I know he will be sorely missed. His dedication to his fellow soldiers, veterans, and country was not only exemplary, but will live on through what he was able to accomplish through years of dedicated public service. My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family during this difficult time.”
